Ok, so I literally just found out about this but I was so excited that I had to blog about it immediately!! (Did I really just type that?) Ew...anyway...LISTEN TO THIS!!! Genius music duo The Knife, in collaboration with Mt. Sims, and Planningtorock are collaborating to produce the music for an upcoming opera being arranged by Danish performance company Hotel Pro Forma. The opera is based on Charles Darwin's 'On The Origin of the Species'. Get excited, because it's BREATH-FUCKING-TAKING! One song from the opera is waiting at http://www.theknife.net/ to fill your senses with delight. It's called 'Colouring of Pigeons' and it's moving and it's beautiful.
